Dear New England Club Purveyors:

Each year, the New England Club Managers Association, the Original Chapter of the Club Managers Association of America, holds its Annual David Meador Scholarship Fund Tournament. Proceeds from the outing benefit the NECMA David Meador Education and Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to students interested in the Club Management industry.

This year the event will be in its twenty-fifth year and will be held at The International in Bolton MA on Tuesday September 21st, 2010. We cordially invite you to enter a foursome, sponsor a golf hole, host the cocktail hour, luncheon, or part of the hors d’oeuvres reception.

One, if not all, of our Member Clubs is a customer of your company and thus, we are asking for your support. We have arranged a top-notch event with great golf, delicious food, cold drinks and beautiful weather! We would like you to play a part in the success of the event and any support you can extend allows us to distribute more scholarship money to students.

Although some vendors simply enjoy a day out with their colleagues, this day is specifically designed to be a networking opportunity with leaders in our industry. You are welcome to invite a specific Club Manager with whom you would like to play, coordinate your own foursome or we are happy to coordinate a foursome for you that would include participants from your company and Members of the New England Club Managers Association.

The New England Club Managers Association was founded in 1914, and is the only association representing the private club management profession. Our active membership consists of over 230 professional managers/Chief Operating Officers who manage nearly 160 private country, golf, city, university, yacht, athletic, and corporate clubs throughout New England. The Association's objectives are to provide education to persons connected with the management of clubs and other associations of similar character, to promote and encourage efficient and successful club management, and to advance friendly relations among its members.

We hope you will join us this year at The International, playing the prestigious Pines Course!

Sincerely,
Outing Co- Chairs
