David Meador Foundation Grants Students CMAA World Conference Registration Fee
The New England Club Managers David Meador Foundation provides grants for Student Chapter Members' registration fees to the CMAA Annual World Conference on Club Management

To qualify, you must be a member of a CMAA Student Chapter and agree to accept on behalf of The New England Club Managers Association, reimbursement of the $175.00 registration fee* associated with the CMAA World Conference on Club Management, scheduled for February 24 - 28, 2012 in New Orleans. 

*Please note that for the 2012 World Conference reimbursement, attendance is mandatory, for at least one NECMA monthly meeting & education, between January 1st, 2011 thru December 31st, 2011 (Social events are exempt; credits must be earned through the chapter in order to gain reimbursement).

The New England Club Managers David Meador Foundation (DMF) is a 501(c)3 charitable organization of the New England Club Manager Association (NECMA), the general purpose of the Corporation is to foster intellectual excellence in the field of club management by securing funds from contributions to be used for educational purposes and assist students, by way of providing scholarship grants, seeking an education in the hospitality profession. 

The DMF's charitable and educational purposes are to provide educational and training opportunities for club managers and students engaged and employed in the private club and hospitality industry in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.

The David Meador Fund was created in 1975 by the New England Club Managers Association with a generous donation from the Members of the Chilton Club (Boston, MA) in memory of their long-time and well-respected Club Manager, David Meador, a Member of NECMA, who passed away in 1975 while on duty at the Chilton Club.

The David Meador Foundation funding supports:
