EXECUTIVE CHEF
FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:
Established in 1989, The Ridge Club is a premier private country club located in Sandwich, Massachusetts, just a few miles over the Sagamore Bridge on Cape Cod. The 2012 season starts an exciting next chapter for The Ridge Club as it has been purchased by a small group of long time members and homeowners. The goal of this new ownership group is to bring ownership and financial stability to The Ridge Club and to make investments to further enhance the golf course, clubhouse and service. The club and golf course resides within a gated community with over 180 privately owned homes. The clubhouse is a beautiful 20,000 square foot building in the heart of the community and includes various food venues, locker facilities, offices, meeting rooms, Golf Shop, outside dining and pavilion for functions. Next to the clubhouse is a heated swimming pool, snack bar, pool house, basketball court, and clay tennis courts. The golf course is a challenging par 71, 18 hole Von Hagge design. Golf practice facilities include a 20 bay grass driving range, chipping area, 2 practice greens and a private teaching tee. Club storage and golf cart barn house the clubs fleet of 60 electric cars. The club currently has 300 members including 210 Golf, 42 Sport and 46 Social members. The clubs food and beverage facilities are open seasonally from April through the end of December and include a 65 seat dining room, 26 seat Grille Room, 30 seat pub, 15 seat Club Room, 160 seat Pavilion and Snack Bar serving pool area and golfers. Total F & B revenue is approximately $1,000,000 annually. In addition to member lunch and dinner service the club also hosts approximately 20 weddings annually, 10 non member golf outings and 30 member events. CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have at least 5 – 10 years of culinary experience preferably with a culinary arts degree from an accredited school. Must be certified in food safety. Prior private club experience required. Must possess creative culinary skills and innovative thinking. The individual must be a proven self-starter with strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Experience managing back and front of House operations required. Must be team oriented and demonstrate ability to manage F & B operations professionally and enthusiastically .Experience working with Jonas software a plus.
JOB VALUE/COMPENSATION:
A compensation package commensurate with experience and excellent benefits package will be offered to the successful candidate. A comprehensive benefit plan including club paid Health and Dental Insurance (Individual or Family, with employee contribution), Disability and Life Insurance ,Vacation, Education Allowance, Meals, other benefits equal to Senior Management of the Club.
