EXECUTIVE CHEF
FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:
Ledgemont Country Club was founded in 1924 and has a long history of being one of Southeastern New England's premier private country clubs. Ledgemont is very highly regarded for the quality of the golf course and the quality of the dining experience. We are home to an expertly maintained 18-hole bucolic golf course, practice facilities, swimming pool, and tennis courts. Our magnificent clubhouse includes formal and informal dining and is highly sought after for weddings and social functions.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will be a team builder and a team leader, both in and out of the kitchen. He or she should have experience with upscale country club dining and a discriminating clientele and possess strong culinary skills. A culinary degree is preferred, but will consider candidates with quality work experience and increasing levels of responsibility as an Executive Chef. Must have a proven track record of controlling food and labor costs, and be adept with creating and managing a budget. This is a hands-on, working Chef position that requires a passion and commitment to excellence. It is not enough for the quality of the dining experience to meet our member's expectations-it must exceed their expectations.
JOB VALUE/COMPENSATION:
Commensurate with experience.
