GENERAL MANAGER

FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:
The par 72 (6,500 yards) public golf course near Springfield features panoramic views of Pioneer Valley as it winds through natural wetlands, rock ledge outcroppings, mature forests, and historic farmland. The Howard Maurer golf course design has elevated greens with manicured bent grass greens, 78 bunkers, and plush fairways always maintained in tournament conditions.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Ledges Golf Club seeks qualified applicants for the position of General Manager of our 18-hole golf course. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administrative, technical and supervisory work directing management, marketing and fiscal operations of the golf facility. Performs responsible functions in providing the finest possible golf club experience requiring the exercise of considerable independent judgment, initiative, creativity in marketing, customer service, problem solving and directing of operations of the golf facility including independently contracted food and beverage concessions and all other related work as required. The successful candidate must possess thorough knowledge of cash management, budgeting, accounting and marketing. Candidates must have a thorough knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet applications, and Publisher. Knowledge of IBS, Club Management Software is preferred. A candidate for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field and/or previous business management experience.

COMPENSATION:
$55,000 - $70,000 depending on experience
