The 51 year old Club is owned by the 600 members and has 350 golfing memberships. The average age of members is 57 and has been trending younger every year. The Club is very family oriented with strong participation and currently has a Wait List. The Clubhouse has a Grille Room (100), Ballroom (200), Pub (70) and other dining and meeting rooms and bars. Additionally, there are locker rooms and a health club located in the Clubhouse. Other facilities and buildings include an 18 hole Cornish golf course (home of the NE Senior Tour for 22 years), Golf Pro Shop, Snack bar, Pool & bathhouse, Tennis & Pro Shop and intern housing.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
A natural born leader who is focused on detail and who has experience with upscale country club dining will be highly favored. A candidate with Club Management or Hospitality experience, in a leadership position at a respected private club or recognized public facility is required. Proven ability managing food and beverage service operations - proficient in computer software - solid time management, organization and prioritization skills - Excellent communication skills, leadership skills, the ability to develop employees and foster a team environment required. A record of accomplishment at the candidate’s current position will be researched.

Job Description:
The Dining Room Manager reports directly to the Clubhouse Manager. He/she is responsible for reservations, operating superior member dining service in all food and beverage locations and assists with Member Functions. A professional with drive and diplomacy, technical skills and a need for perfection is a perfect fit. The Food and Beverage budget exceeds $1M in sales and the Club enjoys the reputation as one of a handful of excellent dining opportunities in western Boston Suburbs. A significant in-season time commitment should be expected. A comprehensive job description and other materials will be distributed to the interview finalists.


COMPENSATION:
This position has an opportunity for advancement at the Club or in the field for a top performer. Compensation is established based on experience and qualifications and starts in the $40k range. Other benefits include family health insurance, life insurance, professional dues and fees allowance, annual professional education allowance.
