MEMBERSHIP ADMINISTRATOR

FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:
Abenaqui Country Club, established in 1903, offers a private facility rich in tradition and unsurpassed elegance and is available to members and their guests for golf, tennis and social activities. Our facilities include a world-class 6,697-yard (par-72) golf course, four Har-tru tennis courts, and a magnificent clubhouse with simply elegant dining facilities. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Membership Administrator Assists the Club Manger as required in all matters relating to enrolling new members, and correspondence with club members with the highest standards of professionalism and hospitality.
Position Primary Functions: Provides information to proposed new members & members regarding rules and policies. Prepares and provides written and in-person information including fee illustrations and club promotional material and conducts club tours to prospective new members. Coordinates and drives the membership process steps from application to join date of proposed new members and membership requests. Correspondence to all members regarding membership category change requests including resignations. Ensures that established procedures for processing prospective members' applications are consistently followed. Maintains prospect information, include tracking of all leads and provides appropriate follow up. Acts as staff liaison to Board of Governors and Membership Committee, attends meetings and prepares minutes of meetings, reminds committees of meetings. Maintains membership files and databases, including IBS, Access, and Website directories for new members and membership changes. Secondary Functions & Tasks Maintains Website including - rules and policies, by-laws, calendar of all golf, tennis and social events, committee listing, event promotions, and menu updates, member directory including pictures, and more. Provides members with information and updates thru email announcements. Develop, create, and mail promotional material and invitations for some club social, golf and tennis events; maintain club bulletin boards of same. Prepare club newsletter approximately 6 times per year with input from all departments. Prepare the preparation of annual Wall Calendar, Golf & Tennis Pocket schedules, and maintain club rules and policies hard copy. Support to Men's and Women's golf program; prepare annual opening mailing and other material and invitations for some tournaments. Maintain supporting records and correspondence for incoming members including Membership Certificate log and annual mailing of their Certificate.
Position Qualifications: Strong interpersonal skills and personality representative of our club culture. Highly motivated, outgoing, organized, detail-oriented and creative. Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, etc. Solid time management and prioritization skills; ability to work with little or no direct supervision, ability to multi-task. Excellent customer service skills and focus on customer satisfaction. Prior membership experience and/or marketing experience in a hospitality industry preferred.

COMPENSATION:
Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience. Position is available immediately.
