EXECUTIVE CHEF
FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:
The Woodlands Club is a private, member-owned, recreational, athletic and dining club. The Club boasts an 18 hole championship golf course, which was designed by George and Jim Fazio and hosted the Ben Hogan/Nike New England Classic. It also has both indoor and outdoor pools, four outdoor tennis courts, five year-round indoor hard courts under a bubble, a complete 5,000 sq ft fitness facility, a la carte dining, a busy functions business, and a satellite food & beverage operation that serves members at the outdoor pool and on the golf course.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will lead an experienced team, be responsible for delivering a consistently high quality product to our members, develop creative menus while meeting targeted food cost, oversee all administrative and operational aspects of the back-of-the-house, and most importantly ensure that Member expectations are exceeded. The chef must have an understanding of the unique challenges faced in the private club environment. He/she must be flexible and have the willingness to operate in a business where member desires can and do vary greatly, from very basic fare to fine dining, quite often at the same time.
COMPENSATION:
Salary will be commensurate with experience---range between $60,000 & $80,000. The position also comes with vacation, full medical benefits and 401(k).
