SALES & EVENTS MANAGER
FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:
Wampanoag Country Club, is a 400 member private country club in West Hartford, CT.. Members enjoy a traditional Donald Ross Golf Course built in 1924, two swimming pools and several dining rooms. The clubhouse is a bit dated and we are currently upgrading the facility. We host golf outings, weddings, member functions and some corporate events. Dining facilities include a members dining room, a 150 seat ballroom and an outdoor patio with spectacular panoramic vistas overlooking Talcott Mountain.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The Sales & Events Manager will be highly self motivated, hands on, creative individual who enjoys sales and event planning. Responsible for booking weddings, corporate meetings, special events and golf outings. A background in country clubs is most helpful and a team player is essential. Duties will also include; working closely with club committees in planning and executing member events & marketing; Web site maintenance and email promotions and communications; generating contracts and banquet event orders utilizing club software and producing sales updates to the general manager. Salary based on experience including benefits, health insurance and vacation. Position available immediately.
COMPENSATION:
Dependant on experience.
