SEASONAL CLUB MANAGER (Ten weeks summer season starting 2012)
FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:
The Small Point Club was incorporated in 1895 at the end of Cape Small in Phippsburg, Maine. The building, which has been designated a national historic site, has 15 guest rooms and a dining room. It sits on a ridge overlooking Seawall Beach within a small private summer community. The Club is a seasonal private club offering dining, overnight accommodations, special events, and a meeting place for members and their guests.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualifications: Confident leader who sets an example and mentors staff. Flexible manager with a patient approach to problem solving. Gracious, outgoing personality with a sense of humor. Discreet in speech and behavior. Team player who works with staff and Board collaboratively. Creative, with strong sense of aesthetics. Skills and Experience: Strong communications skills. Computer expertise. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and internet skills a must. Ability to explain and delegate tasks. .Negotiation skills. Understanding of finances. Quickbooks experience preferred. Culinary experience a strong plus. Marketing experience a plus.
COMPENSATION:
Negotiable
