ASSISTANT CLUB MANAGER & FUNCTION COORDINATOR
FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:
Marshfield Country Club is a member owned and operated facility. The club has been in operation for 88 years. There are approximately 375 memberships and 640 members. The facilities include an 18 hole Wayne Stiles golf course and clubhouse. The clubhouse includes a formal dining room, pub/bar area, function room, locker rooms, meeting rooms and office space. The facility is primarily a golfing facility. The active golfing membership support the clubhouse on a 12 month basis. Reduced hours of operation are offered to the membership in Nov.-March. The clubhouse is opened 6 days per week in the golf season.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate should be outgoing, energetic and personable. 1-3 years of experience as an assistant manager at a country club, golf club or business club is preferred. The ideal candidate should have an associates or bachelors degree. The assistant club managers position at Marshfield country club will be responsible for all dining rooms & front of the house operations. In addition, the candidate will coordinate all club functions and assist in function sales to club members as well as those within the local community. This candidate should have P&L responsibilities for operations of the clubhouse dining facilities. The clubhouse revenues are approximately $1.2 million.
COMPENSATION:
Competitive salary based on experience. Salary range $45,000-$52,000 per year
