EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:
Executive Director, New England Section, PGA of America. The New England Section is a non-profit, 501-c6 corporation. It is the 9th largest of the 41 Sections of the PGA of America. The New England PGA has 6 chapters encompassing the states of Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. There are over 750 PGA Members and more than 240 PGA Apprentices.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The Executive Director of the New England PGA is required to direct the day-to-day business activities of the Section. This charge includes supervising 10 full-time and season employees at the Section level, oversight of Chapter employees and their integration with the Section, preparing thorough and comprehensive budget and financial reports, coordinating Section and Chapter events and activities, implementing member tournament programs, adult and junior golf programs, create public relations and awareness initiatives, secure sponsorships and represent the Section in the golf industry. Candidates must have excellent organizational, analytical, financial, supervisory, training and leadership skills. Golf association experience is preferred and a bachelor or master degree is preferred. Candidates should possess the experience and ability to direct staff, set objectives and complete assigned tasks, conduct and implement strategic planning. Sponsor relations, sponsor development skills and outstanding oral and written communication skills are required. The candidate should have minimum of three working years in the golf industry.

COMPENSATION:
$100K+
