The Wianno Club was established in 1916 and is best described as a family social club with great sporting facilities. The main clubhouse, with spectacular views of the Nantucket Sound, is on the National Historic Register and offers formal and casual dining, reception rooms, terraces and a ballroom. The club has 47 overnight rooms and suites and extensive housing for seasonal staff. The Wianno Club is open from mid May through Columbus Day with a very active season for sports and social events as well as a high volume of food & beverage.

FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:
The Wianno Club was established in 1916 and is best described as a family social club with great sporting facilities. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate must have a strong background in food & beverage management. Private club experience and experience in seasonal operations are both highly desirable. The ideal candidate will possess well-developed leadership and organizational skills that are well-suited to leading a large staff. The Food & Beverage Director will be accountable for providing a high level of member service in multiple outlets and will create and supervise a comprehensive training program to achieve that end.The successful candidate will have a natural ability to fluently interact with the club's membership and all levels of staff.

COMPENSATION:
Compensation will be commensurate with the position and the candidate's experience. This is a year-round position - the period during which the club is closed is used for essential planning and hiring staff for the upcoming season.
