DIRECTOR OF FUNCTIONS

FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:
Brae Burn Country Club is a 113 year old private club with 700 members. The Club is open 12 months a year and features an 18 hole Donald Ross designed golf course, 9 hole golf course, 6 tennis courts, 3 paddle tennis courts, pool, snack bar, tonic house, Grille Room, Main Dining Room, lounge and 2 function rooms.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in a private club setting. Responsibilities include booking all functions for the club, executing a majority of those functions, support role to the grille room and main dining area. Assistance with beverage inventory on a monthly basis will also be required. At times, the chosen applicant will be Manager on Duty and will close the clubhouse as scheduled as well as coordinate a majority of hiring and training for all service staff. Function F&B revenues exceed 1 million dollars, therefore requires flexibility to scheduling on a weekly basis. There are a lot of nights and mostly all weekends of work, and position will be responsible for scheduling the service and bar staff weekly for the whole F&B operation. The Director of F&B is a former Functions Director at Brae Burn and the General Manager has been in position for 21 years; therefore there is a great support system for adapting into the position and club culture.

COMPENSATION:
Salary to commensurate with experience. Benefits include medical and dental benefits, 401K, Vacation, limited golf privileges and sick time.
