The 50 year old Club is owned by the 700 members and has 350 golfing memberships. The average age of members is 57 and has been trending younger every year. The Club is very family oriented with strong participation. Currently membership is near cap. The Clubhouse has a Grille Room, Ballroom, Pub and other dining and meeting rooms and bars. Additionally, there are locker rooms and a health club located in the Clubhouse. Other buildings include a Golf Pro Shop, Snack bar, Pool & bathhouse, Tennis & Pro Shop and intern housing.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER

FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:
The 50 year old Club is owned by the 700 members and has 350 golfing memberships. The average age of members is 57 and has been trending younger every year. The Club is very family oriented with strong participation. Currently membership is near cap. The Clubhouse has a Grille Room, Ballroom, Pub and other dining and meeting rooms and bars. Additionally, there are locker rooms and a health club located in the Clubhouse. Other buildings include a Golf Pro Shop, Snack bar, Pool & bathhouse, Tennis & Pro Shop and intern housing.
The Food & Beverage Manager reports directly to the Clubhouse Manager. He/she is responsible for booking and operating private functions and assisting with Ding Room and Member Functions. A professional with drive and diplomacy, technical skills and fiscal responsibility and a need for perfection is a perfect fit. The Food and Beverage budget exceeds $1M in sales and the Club enjoys the reputation as one of a handful of excellent dining opportunities in western Boston Suburbs. A significant in-season time commitment should be expected. A comprehensive job description and other materials will be distributed to the interview finalists.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
An experienced, proven and certified leader who is focused on detail and who has experience with functions will be highly favored. A candidate with a Club Management or Hospitality and experience in a leadership position at a respected private club or recognized public facility is required. Proven ability managing food and beverage operations - Proficient in computer software - Solid time management, organization and prioritization skills - Excellent communication skills, leadership skills, the ability to develop employees and foster a team environment required. A record of accomplishment at the candidate’s current position will be researched.

COMPENSATION:
This position is a key player at the club and as such, a higher than normal starting compensation level is offered. Other benefits include family health insurance, life insurance, professional dues and fees allowance, annual professional convention and education allowance and other standard “perks”. Costs related to interviewing are reimbursed and a relocation allowance will be offered to the successful candidate.
