Founded in 1902 Lake Sunapee Yacht Club is a private member owned seasonal yacht club with 425 members. The club is open from mid June until Labor Day. The club is a family oriented facility that offers extensive youth programs including swimming, sailing and tennis. Lake Sunapee Yacht Club has a large Star class racing fleet. Lunch is served from a snack bar seven days a week. Dinner is served 4 nights per week.

CHEF

FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:
Founded in 1902 Lake Sunapee Yacht Club is a private member owned seasonal yacht club with 425 members. The club is open from mid June until Labor Day. The club is a family oriented facility that offers extensive youth programs including swimming, sailing and tennis. Lake Sunapee Yacht Club has a large Star class racing fleet. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
This is a "hands-on" position with the Chef being responsible for training, scheduling and overseeing, kitchen staff. The Chef will be an exceptional cook with experience in ordering, maintaining food costs, and effectively using inventory so little is remaining at the end of the season. Candidate will have the ability to create a team oriented work environment. Being a seasonal Club, the job starts with a couple of weeks of purchasing and preparing the kitchen and staff. When the season ends the Chef is responsible to seeing that the kitchen is prepared and cleaned for being closed for 8 months. The position runs from the beginning of June until mid September The Chef reports to the General Manager POSITION QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate should have at least ten years experience as a chef, preferable some with private clubs. The candidate must have a positive attitude, be detailed oriented, organized, keep a clean kitchen and have the ability to be a good mentor to the staff.

COMPENSATION:
Compensation based on experience
