EXECUTIVE CHEF

FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:
Spring Valley is a private member owned country club established in 1959. The facility offers a newly renovated 18-hole championship golf course, a har-tru tennis facility, a swim complex with a full service snack bar and a full service dining experience to its membership of 250 families seasonally. The Clubhouse has a member dining area that seats 100 and event facilities to accommodate up to 300 guests. The Club operates seven day a week May thru October, reduced hours November thru April.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The Executive Chef for Spring Valley must be highly motivated, hands-on and diligent in his or her efforts to exceed member and guest expectations. This is a team player position interacting with all members, guests and staff members who are proud of the reputation that has been developed for food and beverage service excellence. Creativity in planning and execution of member dining and special events is our goal. The club operates 6 days a week for the membership and has a vibrant special events/banquet calendar. The Executive Chef will have excellent support to help build a winning team. The chef must be proficient in purchasing, menu development, food production and food and labor cost control. The chef must be able to develop and manage his or her culinary team. All candidates must have a minimum of 5 year experience in a private club setting, a culinary degree and professional references.

COMPENSATION:
Year-round position, commensurate with experience.
