CLUBHOUSE OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE

FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:
The Dedham Country & Polo Club was established in 1910 and is a full service country club with strong sporting traditions. The Cub property features an 18 hole golf course, tennis courts, platform tennis and swimming pool. The Clubhouse operates year round for member dining and for member and member sponsored events. The Club is overseen by a board of governors which emphasizes family participation in all of the Cub's sporting traditions for its 385 members

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Clubhouse Operations Associate (COA) has responsibility for supporting the front of the house operation with event orders, billing set up and execution and event preparation up through the hand off to the Dining Room Manager. On a daily basis the COA is chiefly responsible for all event coordination documentation for private, Club event or sponsored activities for which the Club provides food and beverage. The COA must gain an understanding of the Club's history, tradition and commitment to providing a welcoming family environment for the enjoyment of friendship and sports.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
General qualifications will include the understanding of financial statements for a club and the ability to analyze data to improve value. Sufficient familiarity with requirements for successful operation of golf and tennis activities as well as a record of accomplishment at working in the hospitality or financial sector. Knowledge and command of Microsoft business applications and Jonas Management System a plus. Bachelors degree or equivalent.

COMPENSATION:
