CONTROLLER (Part-Time Position)

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION:
The Lanam Club, formerly the William Wood Mansion (1916) is a 52-year-old, member owned private business/dining club with 300 members. Gross dollar volume $1.5m, annual food & beverage sales of around $1 million. The Club is renowned for the high quality of its food and beverage operation and standards of service. Facilities include two floors of private dining, three acres of landscaped gardens and a large 40 x 40 seasonal tent. From quiet dining to large formal functions and busy member events, the club is an ideal setting for a unique dining experience. The Club is open six days a week (Sundays for holidays and private parties only), twelve months per year.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Supervise accounting and billing staff, perform monthly general ledger closings, prepare financial statements, develop and monitor cash flow and budget analysis and advise the general manager on financial matters. Experience with restaurant or clubs and specifically the Jonas POS system a plus. Flexible schedule of 40 to 50 hours per month with an emphasis on the monthly closings.
