GENERAL MANAGER
PROPERTY DESCRIPTION:
The Oaks is privately owned, full service and publicly accessible; it's located 75 miles north of Boston in Somersworth, NH. The facility includes an 18-hole Brad Booth designed golf course, state of the arts practice facility, a 4,000 square foot function room and a separate grillroom. The Oaks opened in 2005 with a focus on offering a unique golf and function experience available to the public. The facility is for profit and is seeking a General Manager who has experience and focus on food & beverage with a history of strong fiscal responsibility
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The ideal candidate for the general manager position at The Oaks is an individual who is energetic, personable and professional. The candidate for the position must be systems oriented, have excellent leadership abilities and be detailed orientated. In addition, strong financial management skills are essential. Candidates will be asked to demonstrate proven success in the delivery of high levels of service, attention to detail and profitability. Visibility with strong interpersonal skills with customers will also be a priority. Although The Oak's General Manager will have a focus on food & beverage, he/she will be responsible for overall club operations and will report directly to the owners.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates to have five years management experience in the hospitality industry; a bachelor's degree in hospitality management is preferred.
COMPENSATION:
Compensation will be a combination of salary and performance bonus; the range of both to be commensurate with experience. Benefits include medical insurance and a simple IRA plan.
