FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE MANAGER


PROPERTY DESCRIPTION:
The Town of Wellesley, located twelve miles  west of Boston, and is the home of both Wellesley and Babson Colleges.  Wellesley has a reputation as being a fine community with a lovely " New England" flavor and tradition.  Founded in 1910, WCC will soon be celebrating its 100th  Anniversary. The club has a challenging 18 hole Donald Ross designed golf course (1912) and has hosted 2 Mass Opens, 4 Mass Opens for Women, a Women’s Mass Amateur, the Women’s Eastern Amateur, and the USGA Women's State Team Championship.  Additional WCC features an outdoor pool, tennis,  paddle tennis and indoor tennis and fitness facilities.

A new "State of the Art" 54,000 square foot Clubhouse has just been opened and proudly promotes the casual elegance, and friendly family atmosphere Wellesley Country Club is known for.  The club enjoys a very active and successful member dining operation, which includes three member dining rooms, a small private dining room and a very busy outdoor patio dining experience, in season.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate must have at least three years of food & beverage managerial experience (preferably in a private club setting),  a passion for service "Excellence" and a  demonstrated ability to create a harmonious, team-oriented working environment with staff and department heads.  The candidate must prove a management style that shows that they would be highly visible with the membership and staff in all dining and service areas of the club.  

Our next manager will possess excellent communication skills, have a positive "Can Do" attitude, and will be able to maintain, enhance and continue to develop our strong member dining experience and program. The F&B Service Manager is responsible for scheduling, training and recruitment of service staff  (working closely with the Banquet Director) and in assuring a high standard of appearance and managing with established budgets. 

A four year degree is preferred.  Strong hospitality  and P.O.S. experience  is required.  This position reports to the General Manager.
