ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER


FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:
Blue Hill Country Club, located about 30 miles southwest of downtown Boston, is a member owned, family oriented, full-service country club of approximately 300 members. The club features a newly renovated 27 holes of championship golf. Eugene “Skip” Wogan, one of golf’s premier course architects of the Classic Period, designed the main course in 1925. Blue Hill Country Club hosted the PGA Championship in 1956 and was the Ping/Welch stop on the LPGA Tour from 1991-1997. Other amenities at the club include an Olympic size pool, two tennis courts, practice facilities and a full service clubhouse capable of serving parties of up to 350 people. Annual Gross revenues are $5.5 million, with almost $2 million dollars in food and beverage due in large part to the exceptional banquets/parties sponsored by the club.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
Four year degree in Hospitality Industry or comparable. Minimum of 5 year experience as an Assistant Manager or Clubhouse Manager of City or Country Club. Assistant General Manager must be able to act as General Manager in his or her absence. Candidate will be responsible to the General Manager/COO and will of oversight authority of the entire facility. Individual with strong computer skills and cost controls is a plus.
