SOUS CHEF
FACILITY DESCRIPTION:
The Franklin Country Club, founded in 1899, is a 400 member private country club located on the Franklin – Wrentham Line on Route 140. FCC's picturesque scenery of gently rolling hills, tree lined fairways and manicured greens make it an ideal private 18 hole course and a perfect site for a company golf outing, a special occasion function, corporate meeting or intimate wedding reception. Our new Clubhouse, completed in 2000, houses a state-of-the art kitchen facility. The club does approximately $3M in business each year of which $900,000 is in the F&B department. Athletic facilities, aside from golf, includes an outdoor pool. Dining facilities include a 45-seat casual dining room, a 90-seat formal dining room and elegant banquet facilities for 180. The club is open year round.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Sous Chef will be an exceptional cook with experience in ordering, scheduling (controlling labor costs), and maintaining food costs. He or she will be a collaborative leader with excellent communication and hospitality skills and possess an infectious passion and a “hands-on” work ethic that will be apparent to all members and staff at Franklin Country Club.
COMPENSATION:
Salary is based on experience and will include funding for education, health benefits, 401K, and vacation. This position is available immediately.
