LEDGEMONT COUNTRY CLUB, Seekonk, Massachusetts GRILLE ROOM MANAGER
PROPERTY DESCRIPTION: Ledgemont Country Club, a private club established in 1924 with 250 members, is located in Seekonk Massachusetts.; Ledgemont has earned a reputation as one of southeastern New England's finest private country clubs. Our members come from as nearby as Providence and as far away as Boston, the North Shore and southern Rhode Island. All agree that Ledgemont’s newly renovated 37,000 square foot with outdoor dining overlooking the 18th and 9th holes, clubhouse facilities, tennis courts and pool are second to none.
We are especially proud of our golf course. Playing to a slope of 135, it is as challenging as it is beautiful. Ledgemont is a member of both the Rhode Island Golf Association and the Massachusetts Golf Association and has hosted a variety of local tournaments including the Rhode Island Open, New England PGA and the Rhode Island State Amateur. The club pros raved about the layout and condition of our course, calling Ledgemont a "hidden gem" and one of the finest courses they had played. Our membership agrees.
Ledgemont Country Club has a Member's Grill that seats 80, a Bar/Living Room area that seats 80, a private function room that seat 250, 6 Tennis Courts, pool and snack bar.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years Dining Room management experience and prior banquet experience, preferably in a club setting. The candidate must possess a commanding presence, a sense of urgency in member service, a fine attention to detail as well as an ability to create a team-oriented working environment for the staff and be willing to lead by example. You will be expected to maintain high visibility with the membership.
The Grille Room Manager will report to the General Manager and work under the direction of the Dining Room Manager. This manager will back up the Dining Room Manger during parties and dinner hours. Four year degree preferred, but not necessary, hospitality schooling a plus. This is a seasonal position from March 15 to December 1.
JOB VALUE/COMPENSATION: Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer paid medical, vacation, and sick/personal time and Christmas bonus program. The club is committed to providing the successful candidate with the tools and knowledge for future advancement in the club field.
