JOB OPENING - ASSISTANT MANAGER - WALPOLE COUNTRY CLUB - WALPOLE, MA
Founded in 1927, Walpole Country Club, frequently referred to as the “hidden gem” of eastern Massachusetts, is one of the finest, private 18 hole championship layouts in the Greater Boston area. Located only 20 minutes from Boston and Providence, we have developed a reputation for outstanding golf course conditions, active membership and variety of social activities. The Club has approximately 450 members. The clubhouse was expanded and completely renovated in 2000 and boasts an incredible view of the 18th green, fairway and pond from an expansive deck that is accessible from the function rooms, meeting rooms and member dining areas. We are happy to accommodate a variety of functions or business meetings for groups of any size up to 175 guests. The function room holds 150 people.

FACILITY DESCRIPTION:
Founded in 1927, Walpole Country Club, frequently referred to as the “hidden gem” of eastern Massachusetts, is one of the finest, private 18 hole championship layouts in the Greater Boston area. Located only 20 minutes from Boston and Providence, we have developed a reputation for outstanding golf course conditions, active membership and variety of social activities.

We are a sought after tournament site and have hosted dozens of major events including the MGA Mid Amateur, U.S. Amateur Qualifying, the MGA 4-ball, the Junior Championship, the U.S. Amateur qualifier, the New England Women’s Golf Association Championship, and the NEPGA Pro-Senior. Course architect Al Zakouris crafted a distinctive layout that not only holds its own at the championship level but is a joy for members to play, providing a challenge with every new day.

The Club has approximately 450 members. CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
The Assistant Manager works closley with the Club Manager and Executive Chef in all aspects of the operation. He/ She will be responsible for the Dining Room operation; including: training, scheduling and member satisfaction. Candidate must possess good inter-personal and strong leadership skills to be a part of our management team. This is a very hands-on position requiring an organized and detailed oriented candidate with good computer knowledge.

JOB VALUE/COMPENSATION:
$38,00 to $40,000
