JOB FILLED - CLUBHOUSE MANAGER - CONCORD COUNTRY CLUB - CONCORD, MA
Concord Country Club is a 113-year-old private, member owned, club with 535 members. Located in historic Concord, Massachusetts, approximately 20 miles from Boston. the Club's many recreational facilities includes an 18 hole Donald Ross golf course (host of the 2007 Men's Massachusetts State Amateur golf championship), a new pool with diving and slide wells and children's pool, eight clay tennis courts, and three paddle courts. In season (May through September) The Club is open seven days a week. Off season the Club runs on a modified schedule with limited activities and staff.

CLUBHOUSE MANAGER


FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:
Concord Country Club is a 113-year-old private, member owned, club with 535 members. Located in historic Concord, Massachusetts, approximately 20 miles from Boston in a rural setting with easy access to major highways (including routes 2, 95, 495 and the Mass Pike). Member life at the Concord Country Club centers around the Clubs many recreational facilities including an 18 hole Donald Ross golf course (host of the 2007 Men's Massachusetts State Amateur golf championship), a new pool with diving and slide wells and children's pool, eight clay tennis courts, and three paddle courts. In season (May through September) The Club is open seven days a week. Off season the Club runs on a modified schedule with limited activities and staff. The main clubhouse features a large dining room with terrace seating and a more intimate Member's Dining Room. Additional snack bar facilities are located at the pool/tennis complex.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
The Clubhouse Manager reports directly to the General Manager is responsible for all food and beverage activities at the Club including the daily operation of the restaurant and snack bar as well as ongoing events throughout the season. The position is highly visible, working closely with members to insure the highest levels of satisfaction. The Clubhouse Manager maintains a leadership role at the Club both through the hiring, training and motivating a strong wait staff and through interactions and communication with department heads to coordinate events. The Clubhouse Manager is responsible for developing and adhering to annual plans and budgets. Candidates should have dining and banquet experience, preferably at a private country club Ideal candidates have a proven track record in club management as either a Clubhouse Manager or Asst. Manager. A degree in hospitality or business is a plus. The Club is looking for someone with energy, enthusiasm and an enjoyable personality who possesses great attention to detail and has a "can do" attitude and an eye for quality.
