FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:
Facility Description: The Eastern Point Yacht Club, located on the tip of Cape Ann in beautiful East Gloucester MA is a full service Yacht Club with 250 members. The Club's facilities include a recently renovated Clubhouse, kitchen, and dining room, strong Junior Sailing program, guest rooms, and waterfront facilities. The waterfront consists of a mooring field with 109 moorings, Club docks, launch service, and strong Club racing and cruising program. Gross revenues are $1,400,000, dues line $600,000, food $400,000, beverage $200,000. The Club operates 8 months per year (Closed Jan-Apr.) CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
Eastern Point Yacht Club is seeking a highly motivated General Manager with an eye for detail in service techniques, member recognition, point of sale systems, banquet sales and service, employee scheduling and in-service training programs. The General Manager must be visible at the appropriate times and insure a management/supervisory presence to insure member and guest satisfaction at all levels in each of the Club venues. The General Manager will report to the Commodore and Board of Governors. The Club has strong Committee support and they are an integral part of the Club's success. The Club is seeking an individual with the correct mix of entrepreneurial energy and the proven ability to lead an effective organization. The General Manager is expected to have a very firm grasp of financials with the ability to develop and achieve revenue goals. The General Manager is also expected to be pro-active in the area of expense containment, without diminishing levels of member service or product quality. Hospitality or business degree and the CCM designation or substantial and vigorous progress towards this recognition is considered a distinct plus.

JOB VALUE/COMPENSATION:
The salary is commensurate with experience. A performance bonus will be developed for the successful candidate. A comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401K and CMAA package is included.
