JOB OPENING - RESTAURANT MANAGER - NANTUCKET GOLF CLUB - SIASCONSET, MA
The 18-hole "Nantucket" course at the Nantucket Golf Club facility in Nantucket, Massachusetts features 7,081 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 74.7 and it has a slope rating of 135 on Bent grass. Designed by Rees Jones, ASGCA, the Nantucket golf course opened in 1998. "Golf Digest" ranked this course #1 on its list of "Best New Private Courses" for 1998. "Golf Magazine" chose it 57th on its 1999 list of the "Top 100 Courses in the U.S." The Club has a Clubhouse with 75 seat dining room and 40 seat grill room.

RESTAURANT MANAGER


FACILITIES DESCRIPTION: 
The newest golf club on Nantucket is the Rees Jones-designed Nantucket Golf Club. It is located in Siasconset and is visible from the 15th tee of Sankaty Head. By utilizing the natural terrain, Rees Jones' design team was able to insert this course into the land in a way that makes it feel as if it's always been there. Vacationers and second home owners from the top end of the corporate world were delighted with the opportunity to join the club since Sankaty Head had a closed waiting list. The club met with instant success.

The course conditions are superb, the club amenities are above average, and the food is exceptional. The Club has a Clubhouse with 75 seat dining room and 40 seat grill room.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
3 years of restaurant management. Candidate must have a high level of energy. Good people skils to deal with both members and staff. Must be willing to train and work with the staff.

JOB VALUE/COMPENSATION:
This is a six month long job. Compensation is based on experience.
