FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:

Alpine Country Club is a 47-year old member-owned club with 500 members whose average age is in the mid-50's. The club's gross dollar volume is approximately $6 million; annual dues volume is approximately $1.9 million; annual food sales are approximately $2.1 million; annual beverage sales are approximately $750,000. The club's recreational facilities include an 18-hole golf course, a driving range, a putting green and swimming facilities including a children's pool and small playground. Dining facilities include two large grille rooms, a small function room and a ballroom with adjoining lounge seating up to 400 guests. Alpine Country Club is a traditional club with a very active membership. The club is open 6 to 7 days in season and 11 ½ months per year.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
The Club Manager will be responsible for all clubhouse operations and facilities including member dining rooms, banquet facilities, kitchen, and men's and ladies' locker rooms. The Club Manager will also be responsible for oversight of the swimming facility. The Club Manager will report directly to the Club President, Executive Committee and Board of Directors. The successful candidate will possess strong managerial and financial skills and demonstrated success in food and beverage operations management.

The Club is looking for an individual of the highest integrity who will serve as a leader for club staff and be a visible and active resource for members and guests. Highly-developed interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service are a necessity. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in hospitality or business management or equivalent experience. Candidates should have five years management experience in the hospitality industry. The club would prefer candidates from the northeast region.

JOB VALUE/COMPENSATION:
Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications.  Health insurance and other customary benefits will be offered.
