WELLESLEY COUNTRY CLUB, Wellesley, Massachusetts BANQUET & EVENT DIRECTOR FACILITIES DESCRIPTION: The Wellesley Country Club, a private 18 hole country club,  opened it's golf course in 1910 as nine holes, designed by the renowned architect Donald Ross. The second nine holes were added in 1961 by Geoffrey Cornish, with additional modifications made in later years by Brian Silva and Craig Schreiner. The club has hosted 2 Mass Opens, 4 Mass Opens for Women, a Women’s Mass Amateur, the Women’s Eastern Amateur, and the USGA Women's State Team Championship. We have a new club house under construction with a 200 seat ballroom and 3 other smaller function rooms. Numerous member events to coordinate. CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS: Hospitality degree preferred but not necessary. Minumum 5 years experience.
