STONINGTON YACHT CLUB, Stonington, Connecticutt DINING ROOM MANAGER
FACILITIES DESCRIPTION: Dining Facilities include Main Dining Room (seats 50),Pub (seats 20), Seasonal Terrace (seats 40). Function Rooms include the Library, Founders Room and Harbor Room.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS: The Dining Room Manager's primary focus is running the A La Carte dining and Functions at the club. His/her goal will be to ensure the highest standards of quality service throughout the year. Job duties include hiring, training, disciplining, and supervising the staff, implementing standard operating procedures, controlling the restaurant expenses and increasing revenue, ordering necessary items from vendors. The Dining Room Manager will report directly to the General Manager. 3-5 years of food service experience. Must have experience in supervising/managing a staff and the operations of food service. A degree in the hospitality field is prefered. Must be outgoing, well spoken, have a positive attitude and work well under pressure. Attention to detail and concern for member satisfaction are essential.
JOB VALUE/COMPENSATION: Salary is based on experience. Health Benefits, Vacation, Sick and Personal Time and Year-End Bonus. The Club will pay usual and customary fees associated with interviewing.
