DINING & BANQUET DIRECTOR
Worcester Country Club is a 107 year old private Club with 400+ member families and featuring one of Donald Ross's greatest courses. Great history throughout the Club. Home of the 1st Ryder Cup in 1927, The Men's US Open in 1925, and the Ladies US Open in 1960 as well as 17 Massachusetts State championships. A small but elegant Tudor Clubhouse,seasonal Tent, pool, wading pool, and 2 tennis courts.
Summary-The position is responsible for the management and oversight of the dining room and operations in the clubhouse of this prestigious and historic country club. Responsiblities include hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision for the Food and Beverage service staff; menu and wine list planning, function sales and supervision, inventory, ordering, and cost control procedures, POS management, extensive inter department and member communications and interaction; solid computer skills required along with related degree and/or 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a similar high end dining or private club environment; must have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining energy, enthusiasm, and optimism.
