Property Description Portland Country Club is the premier golf and country club in Northern New England with a seaside Donald Ross 18-hole golf course, 8 har-tru tennis courts, two platform tennis courts, outdoor pool complex and a 45,000 sq. ft. 1920's Maine Cottage Style clubhouse.
Brief Job Description The successful candidate will work with members, guests and fellow employees to plan, document and communicate the details of: Private events, such as weddings, birthday parties, business seminars and meetings, retirement parties, holiday events, etc.: Member events, such as golf tournaments, tennis socials, holiday events (Easter brunch, etc), bridge luncheons, wine tastings, etc...
Candidate Qualifications The successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, strong planning and organizational skills and will have demonstrated in past work experience excellent knowledge and skills in the areas of: Food and Beverage preparation and service and Event Planning (catering and member events)
Compensation and Benefits Fair and competitive compensation will be based on the successful candidates skills, experience, compatibility and qualifications. Other Benefits: Health, dental, STD and life insurances, 401(k), vacation, personal leave, employee meals. The club will pay usual and customary fees associated with interviewing.
