DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:
Lanam Club is one of the areas premier private business and social dining club with 300 active members. The club is located 30 miles north of Boston in Andover Massachusetts. In addition to fine dining, the club offers various private function rooms including a three season outdoor pavilion. The club is open six days a week September-May and five days during the summer months.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
The Director of Operations is responsible for the general operation of staff functions relating to member dining, private parties, maintenance and housekeeping. Promotes the club's dining facilities for private banquets and business meetings through active member marketing, local advertising and community relations. Manages all administrative and operational aspects of event preparation and service. A successful candidate will be detailed, creative and possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills. A leader who exemplifies strength in fine dining, wine knowledge and staff training. A minimum of five years hospitality management experience preferably in the private club industry. Four-year hospitality degree is preferred.
JOB VALUE/COMPENSATION:
Salary $50,000-$60,000 based on experience and qualifications. Medical and dental benefits, vacation, performance and holiday bonus, clothing allowance and CMAA dues and education
