AQUATICS DIRECTOR
FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:
The Quechee Club, Vermont's Premier Four-Season Club, is located Quechee, VT. The Quechee Club is home to two of the best golf courses in New England, a ski mountain, excellent recreational facilities, including an indoor pool, and outstanding dining facilities. With professional staff and exclusive members, the private Quechee Club offers a team-oriented environment and the chance to work at one of the finest Country Clubs in the US.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
If you are someone with Aquatic Industry experience currently working at the level of assistant manager or higher you may be who we are looking for. As the Director your responsibilities include managing instructors, controlling pool quality, equipment maintenance and the ongoing development of revenues and programs. You will be a working manager as our organization believes strongly in leadership by example. You must be a can do person with great communication and strong leadership skills. Two or more years of experience teaching and/or managing in pool setting Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard Training Instructor Experience in interviewing, hiring, training and maintaining staff. CPO certification CPR & AED Water Safety Certified as group exercise instructor [pool] Capable of time management and multi-tasking Experience with pool systems Experience running a master swim program, group exercise schedule, private swim lessons AA degree in Recreation Management or related field Minimum of two years in the Aquatics Industry
JOB VALUE/COMPENSATION:
This is a full-time, salaried position.
