CLUBHOUSE MANAGER

FACILITIES DESCRIPTION:
3 year old developer owned, seasonal club with outstanding amenities that include: 1917 Vanderbilt Mansion as the main clubhouse, 7 overnight rooms, 125 seat dining room, 2 grass tennis courts, 9 har-tru tennis courts, 2 squash courts, 2 paddle tennis courts, state of the art 20,000 sq ft spa & fitness center, pool, whirlpool, children's pool, 28' Southport center console fishing boat, 1929 77' Trumpy motor yacht; 450 memberships

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
The clubhouse manager is responsible for the overall clubhouse operation including food and beverage staff and facilities. While the clubhouse manager's primary responsibility will be the a la carte and banquet operations with emphasis on quality, cost-control and organization, and most importantly, member services. The clubhouse manager will work as a team with the Chef and other year round department heads, to provide an outstanding service experience. He/She will also ensure housekeeping excellence; staff training and leadership; management of in-house systems. Candidates should have a minimum of three years F&B management experience in an upscale hospitality property or private club, as well as a strong service orientation, organizational and motivational training skills, computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and point of sale software knowledge. 4 year hospitality degree or equivalence.

JOB VALUE/COMPENSATION:
Salary range is $55,000 -$65,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include full medical coverage paid 100% by Club for self & spouse, 4% matching 401k, standard vacation and floating holidays, year round use of the Fitness Center for self & spouse, CMAA local and National membership and education. The club will pay the usual and customary fees associated with interviewing.
