Dining facilities include a 45-seat casual dining room, a 90-seat formal dining room and banquet facilities for 200. BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION The general manager is responsible for management and oversight of all club operations including food and beverage, staff, facilities, pool, maintenance and golf. He or she will be measured against overall member satisfaction, operational profit and loss, revenue generation, and employee development. The club is open year round. QUALIFICATIONS The General Manager will be the chief operating officer reporting directly to the president and is expected to work collaboratively with all standing committees with special emphasis to the house committee. The preferred candidate will have will have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in the hospitality industry with a proven record of strong financial, operational, organizational, and personnel management achievements. He or she will be a collaborative leader with excellent communication and hospitality skills and possess an infectious passion and a “hands-on” work ethic that will be apparent to all members and staff at Franklin Country Club. Salary: $95,000 - 115,000 commensurate with experience. Benefits include health, vacation, IRA with club match and CMAA and other professional memberships.
