MOUNT PLEASANT COUNTRY CLUB, Boylston, Massachusetts FOOD & BEVERAGE DIRECTOR
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION Overseeing a $1.2 million food and beverage operation, the food and beverage manager/director should have hospitality or business management background and a minimum of five years work experience. Experience in budgets, inventory, scheduling and supervising all front-of-house food and beverage employees is required. The food and beverage director will need to be visible, possess a positive attitude and have a hands-on approach. This is hands-on position, working with a flexible schedule, week end and nights are required. Reporting to the club manager the food and beverage director’s direct reports are the dining room manager, special events supervisor, bar manager and executive chef. Excellent communications and organizational skills and, preferably, experience with Club Connect point-of-sale systems.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS The candidate must have 5 -7 years management experience in the private club industry. A proven track record of financial success in a high end country club is a plus. A college degree in Hospitality Management is desired

OTHER BENEFITS Compensation includes a competitive base salary-$42k to $50/year-commensurate with qualifications; bonus opportunity, health, life insurance benefits; vacation, personal and holiday time; 401-(k) plan.
