KIRKBRAE COUNTRY CLUB, LINCOLN, RI (POSTED 09/06/2006) GENERAL MANAGER/COO
Kirkbrae Country Club is a year round, private club with 546 memberships. The club is a family oriented, full service facility that features an 18-hole Championship golf course, 4 tennis courts, a recently renovated Olympic-sized swimming pool complex, full locker room services and amenities and a state of the art health facility. In addition, Kirkbrae has a 240 seat member dining room (that includes formal and informal dining areas) and a 480 seat banquet facility. Annual gross revenue exceeds $6.5 million ($2.0 MM in banquet sales, $1MM in member dining).
Qualified candidates should have a four-year business or hospitality degree and a minimum of 5 years experience managing a club of similar size and type. The GM/COO is the administrative head of the Club, and is directly responsible for the financial and operating results of the Club. He/she is responsible for the day to day operation of all club venues, but is not responsible for golf course maintenance or pro shop operations. Core duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintenance of all Standard Operating Procedures
- Responsible for Standards of F & B, Service and Quality
- Club Marketing and Advertising
- Membership Service Programs
- Budgets & Capital Expenses Proposals
- Hiring and Supervision of Management Staff
- Full Charge of the Financial Condition of the Club
- Community Relations
- Strategic Planning
- Safeguarding the Club’s Assets
- Oversee all Facility Maintenance
- Cooperation with Club Officers and Board of Governors
