JOB OPENING TITLE:
The Clubhouse Manager will be responsible for the front of house service of all food and beverage activities and valet services at the Club. This includes a 120 seat Grill Room, 250 seat Main Dining Room, 80 seat Informal Pub & Patio, Pool Grille and Course Concession Facility. In season the successful candidate will be responsible for approximately 60 employees.
He/She will be professional and highly visible with the Club’s membership. The individual will assist in all areas of the Club as assigned and will promote the highest level of standards across departments. He/ She will recruit, train & build a team to deliver an exceptional member dining experience, while promoting a positive work environment. Provide hands-on support during peak periods to uphold quality standards. Develop effective premeals and post-meals that communicate key performance indicators. Provide seamless coordination with other department heads and supervisors to achieve shared goals and objectives. The position requires a hospitality professional who can excel by providing attention to details, setting clearly defined standards and objectives, and ensuring a sense of urgency in a receptive, welcoming environment for members and guests. The position requires a proven working knowledge of restaurant management, with emphasis on catering. A strong set of service training skills are required to effectively establish, communicate and reinforce performance expectations. Candidate must have an impeccable professional appearance, strong communication and organizational skills with an engaging personality. The successful candidate will exemplify a positive attitude with a can do spirit to lead an existing team of long term professionals who take enormous pride in delivering a standard of excellence throughout the Club. The ideal candidate should be on a career track to become a club General Manager.
