Wine Tasting: Portugal’s Porto Particulars and The Wines of the Douro
September 24, 2009 - Taste the breadth and depth of one of Portugal’s most important and historic exports, Porto, and the new sumptuous wines of the Douro. This is the first collaboration between the prestigious Instituto dos Vinhos do Douro e Porto (IVDP) and Boston University’s Elizabeth Bishop Wine Resource Center. More info...

THE CMAA INTERNATIONAL WINE SOCIETY ANNOUNCES THE WARREN L. ARSENEAUX HONORARY SCHOLARSHIP.
The purpose of this scholarship is to provide tuition to attend the BMI Wine and Food Experience at the Culinary Institute of America’s Greystone Campus to a CMAA Wine Society member who has a passion and love for wine and can demonstrate an interest in continuing his or her professional development in wine education. Please note, the deadline for submission of the application is November 2, 2007.
SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS
The CMAA International Wine Society will award one (1) scholarship annually, based on the availability of funds and merit of application. In order to help recipients expand upon their knowledge of wine, the scholarship will cover the registration fee associated with the BMI Wine and Food Experience at the Culinary Institute of America’s Greystone Campus, or other education opportunity as approved by the IWS Board of managers. Scholarship awards will be granted based on recommendations made by the CMAA IWS Scholarship Committee and approved by the CMAA IWS Board of Directors.
WHO SHOULD APPLY
Any CMAA International Wine Society member who is dedicated to professional development in the area of knowledge of wine is invited to apply
