Applicants must apply simultaneously for membership in both the National Association (CMAA) and the local chapter having jurisdiction over the area in which the prospective member's club is located

The dues structure for the 2010 year is listed below
(effective November 1, 2009):
1st Member from club $340.00
2nd Member from same club $165.00
3rd Member or more from same club $120.00
Alumnus Members (1/2 full dues) $170.00
*Administrative Fee $100.00
**Associate Members $340.00
Faculty Members $ 50.00
Retired (Active) $ 50.00
"Friends of the Chapter" Members $ 50.00
Retired Members (Inactive) $ 0.00
Student Members ‡ $ 0.00
Surviving Spouse $ 0.00

‡ The New England Chapter offers dues free membership to the
CMAA Student Chapter Members in New England.

2011

The dues structure for the 2011 year is listed below
(effective September 1, 2010):
1st member from club $825.00
2nd member from same club $825.00
3rd member or more from same club $625.00
Alumnus Members $412.50
*Administrative Fee $100.00
**Associate Members $825.00
Faculty Members $100.00
Retired Members (Active or Associate) $ 75.00
Student Members $ 50.00
Surviving Spouse $ 25.00
*The Administrative Fee is paid only once, when an individual first joins the Association. When joining, this fee does not apply to Faculty, Student or Surviving Spouse membership classifications.  Applications from Student to Provisional/Alumnus status are exempt from the Administrative fee, as well.
**Associate membership is offered only to Active and Provisional members who have left the club management field, or those who are no longer eligible for Continuation status and are unemployed. (NECMA Bylaws).
NOTE: 96% of all clubs pay for the CMAA member's yearly dues.
