NECMA/CMAA MEMBERSHIP INQUIRY FORM Thank you for your interest in the New England Club Managers Association (NECMA) and The Club Manager Association of America (CMAA). Membership Qualifications Joining a professional association is vital to successful career growth. Membership in NECMA/CMAA will:
Greatly expand your knowledge and competency in the club industry field; Provide you with valuable opportunities to network, exchange information and discuss common issues and concerns; and Provide opportunities for you to develop leadership skills as you build friendships that will last a lifetime. To be eligible and when applying for provisional membership in NECMA/CMAA, a person must be connected with the management of clubs. Provisional members receive all NECMA/CMAA member benefits except the right to vote and hold elected office. Provisional members qualify for active status after 12 months of membership in the Association and the accumulation of 15 CMAA Education credits (CMI & Chapter Education). A club professional initially applies for NECMA/CMAA membership with the local chapter having jurisdiction over the locale of the club. Once elected into chapter membership, the individual simultaneously becomes a member of the national organization (this is a requirement of the Association’s bylaws).
