NECMA POLICIES
New Billing Policy
To reduce the workload on our Chapter Treasurer, we ask that you mail the pre-registration form with payment or plan accordingly to pay on the day of the event. Please do not ask to be billed. These requests have become an overwhelming and unnecessary burden on our Treasurer, a volunteer position. Thank you for your cooperation.
New Complimentary Golf Policy (01/23/2007)
When golf is offered by NECMA Member managers in conjunction with a chapter meeting, golf play will be allocated on a first come/first serve basis, and limited to CMAA Member managers and one preferred guest, who must be a manager's club official or club employee. All golfers must attend the education session and social event preceding or following golf, and pay the applicable fees. Preferred guest attendance shall be limited to two rounds of golf at Chapter meetings per year. Other guests will be permitted, on a space available basis, one week in advance of a meeting.
Event Reservation Cancellation Policy (07/02/2002)
For the past several years, the New England Chapter has had many no-shows for scheduled events that requires reservations. This places an undue burden on those clubs, who through their generosity, oblige their managers by allowing us the privilege of using their clubs - sometimes a privilege that their members cannot enjoy. The New England Chapter Board of Directors has directed in the interest of fairness to all host managers and their clubs, and the necessity of burden management, that reservations to these events must be cancelled in writing via email ( reservations@necma.org ) or fax (774-430-9051) at least 48 hours prior to the event if there has been a change in your plans. In the absence of such written cancellation, the managers will be billed. We regret the necessity of such action, but like you, those clubs cannot properly plan without knowing in advance the number that will be attending. Emergency situations will be considered on an individual basis.
